📏Rating Criteria (Read First)
- All ratings assume max awakening (4 awakenings = 5 copies of the card). Un-awakened performance can differ significantly.
- S/A/B ranks measure attacker strength.
- The Supporter category is not a ranking — it is a separate role-based selection of cards that support your team.
- Ratings reflect the meta as of August 2026 and will be updated as new cards arrive.

🥇S Tier: Top of the Meta (3 cards)
Tomoya "Captain, Brother, Friend" (Light/Physical, Permanent)
The strongest card in the current meta. Three reasons: Life Flip Self is among the best skills in the game; he continuously stuns enemies while on the field (and stun in PARANOIZE cannot be cured by status-recovery skills — the only counter is killing him); and Survivor's Fury, once its condition is met, can fire every turn. One card that handles attack, defense, and debuffing at once — and he is in the permanent pool.
Shoko "The Smiling Predator" (Dark/Physical, Permanent)
Auto Poison is absurdly strong. Poison in this game can only be cured by Purify skills, so once poison lands, she can effectively spam Poison Eater forever. With Dire Drain for self-healing, she is a complete poison engine — also from the permanent pool.
Renji "Familiar Footsteps" (Dark/Physical, Limited)
The newest S-tier entry, rated simply because he has no weakness. His core design mirrors Tomoya: Endure (survive a lethal hit at 1 HP) flows directly into Life Flip Self (usable below 30% HP — effectively a near-full heal), a self-contained survival loop in one card. Add the 5x Survivor's Fury nuke and Poison Skin, and there is no hole to exploit. Tomoya is Light and Renji is Dark, so they don't compete — run both.
🥈A Tier: Core Attackers (14 cards)
- Tomoya "Fading Hope" (Dark/Physical, Limited): Attack, defense and debuff in one card. Dire Drain heals while hitting, and Mass Poison Entry means he needs no poison support — fully self-contained.
- Ryoko "Wild Reminiscence" (Light/Special, Limited): Dual Stun Entry plus a second stun via EX is unique to her. Time Strike fires regardless of the enemy's status — unconditional, reliable damage.
- Ryu "Kendo Rebel" (Earth/Special, Permanent): The biggest nuke in the game. 6x Dream Hunt with his own sleep infliction — no SR/R sleep support needed. Breaks through ruins and opponents you "shouldn't" beat.
- Reika "Glimpse of Mundanity" (Dark/Physical, Limited): EX Counter is outstanding — she gains a turn every time a unit is hit for the first time. Rich poison kit; works max-awakened as an attacker or un-awakened as a supporter.
- Yui "Sparkling Hopes" (Light/Special, Limited): Time Drain (4–5x + 50% self-heal) plus a 5x Killing Spree. Stun Skin and Endure keep her on the field.
- Ryu "Tears of Spring" (Dark/Physical, Limited): Self-contained poison loop — Poison Attack to apply, Poison Eater to cash in — with Dire Drain and Endure for survivability.
- Jin "Walk in Moonlight" (Dark/Physical, Limited): High-damage Dark physical attacker that raises your main squad's ceiling.
- Anna "Alluring Illusion" (Earth/Special, Swimsuit): Valuable Earth special firepower for special-attack teams.
- Reika "Braving the Storm" (Earth/Special, Limited): Well-balanced Earth special attacker that slots into many teams.
- Shoko "Beachside Predator" (Light/Special, Swimsuit): Light special firepower slot for special-based teams.
- Yui "Sunlit Respite" (Earth/Special, Permanent): Permanent and easy to build — a solid early-to-mid game core.
- Erika "Fallen Bloodline" (Earth/Special, Limited): Time Drain (4x + 50% heal vs 130TU+ enemies) plus Poison Eater — hits hard while healing.
- Tomoya "While it Lasts" (Earth/Physical) NEW: Sleep-synergy attacker. Sleep Skin can put attackers to sleep, feeding his own 6x Dream Drain with a 50% self-heal. Not meta-breaking, but any squad gets stronger the moment you slot him in.
- Meisa "Deadly Invitation" (Light) NEW: Never overwhelming, but consistently earns a squad slot — a well-rounded A on overall balance.
- Jin "The Silent Blade" (Light/S.Attacker, Limited): A stun-laced Light attacker built around Auto Stun (30%). Endure (Lv.101) survives a killing blow at 1 HP, and the all-target Dire Drain (usable below 30% HP) fires back for 2.5x while healing 50% — a remarkably resilient comeback kit. Time Strike adds up to 5x burst against slow, heavy enemies. NEW
🥉B Tier (6 cards)
Cards that fall one step short of the core even at max awakening, or whose role is crowded by stronger options. Fine as stopgaps or element fillers.
- Anna "Deadly Elegance" (Dark/Physical, Permanent): Crowded out by Hungry Meeting and Apex Predator in the same niche.
- Renji "Kendo's Awakened Blade" (Earth/Special, Permanent): Overshadowed since "Familiar Footsteps" arrived.
- Ryoko "Earned Indulgence" (Earth/Physical, Swimsuit): 5x Dual Dream Hunt + Endure, but depends on others for sleep setup.
- Minami "Justice Runs Hot" (Light/Special, Swimsuit): Light special filler; outclassed for damage.
- Minami "Not on a date, right?" (Light/Physical, Swimsuit): Versatile (auto stun, healing, Survivor) but a step short as a max-awakened attacker. Still good as a low-investment support.
- Nayu "No Filter" (Light/Physical) NEW: Flexible kit on paper — Auto Stun plus Purify healing — but the payoff Mass Stun Survivor EX only comes online after surviving 300TU, and her raw damage runs a step short of the core.
🛡️Supporter Category (role-based, unranked / 6 cards)
This is a separate axis from the strength ranking. What these cards share: their key skills trigger on death or on entry — conditions that don't scale with investment. They do their job at minimal investment, letting you funnel awakening resources into your main attackers.
- Meisa "Last Words" (Dark/Physical, Limited): Long the game's only Auto Guard — now joined by wedding Shoko. With Endure she never dies in one hit, and Dire Drain re-arms Endure — an immortality loop. Auto Guard even triggers while she is poisoned or asleep. Her presence alone multiplies your ace's attack opportunities.
- Nayu "One Track Mind" (Earth/Special, Limited): Heals allies on death (works at minimal investment) and also carries an active healing skill — a two-layer support.
- Yui "Pure Beginnings" (Light/Physical, Limited): Heals allies on death. A cheap insurance slot that functions with almost no investment.
- Renji "Carrying the Torch" (Light/Special, Event Limited): Healing Entry fires the moment he enters. Place him 5th or 6th and he does his job at minimal investment.
- Minami "Conflicting Evidence" (Earth/Special, Limited): Mass Sleep Random EX (50% sleep chance on all enemies) is the ignition for sleep teams — enabling her own 5x Dual Dream Hunt, Ryu's 6x Dream Hunt, and more. The heart of any sleep composition.
- Shoko "Til Dinner Do Us Part" (Light/Physical) NEW: The wedding Shoko is the game's second Auto Guard (60%) — she tanks hits for your ace, while Endure plus a 5x Dire Drain EX (below 30% HP) lets her survive and heal back. A classic low-investment bodyguard.
- Reika "Midnight Cruise" (Earth/P.Attacker, Limited): Awaken to 4 stars and stop at Lv.76 — that is the optimal build. Disrupt the enemy's opening move with EX Auto Sleep, and even when killed, Turn Requiem passes the next turn to an ally. A supporter designed to "die well"; raising her as an attacker wastes Turn Requiem, so there is no need to push for Lv.101. NEW
- Yui "For Your Eyes Only" (Earth/S.Attacker, Swimsuit): An excellent Auto Guard tank for sleep teams. At max awakening, Auto Guard hits 100% — she reliably takes hits for allies, and Endure plus EX Charge (50% HP heal) keep her standing. Sleep Touch adds utility, but she will never be an attacker, so do not count her toward your damage. NEW
💡How to Spend Your Awakening Resources
The way to use this tier list: max-awaken attackers from S/A, and fill the rest of your squads with low-investment supporters. Max awakening takes 5 copies of a card — you cannot afford it for everyone. Concentrate resources on S/A attackers and let the Supporter category cover the gaps. That is the highest-value build path.
- Stun cannot be cured by status recovery → sustained-stun units (Tomoya) skyrocket in value
- Poison is only cured by Purify → self-sufficient poison cards (Shoko, Apex Predator, Renji, Unexpected Tears Ryu) run their synergy reliably
- Staying power = more actions → Survivor / Endure / Auto Guard holders do more work per card
- Sleep teams need an igniter → Minami's Mass Sleep Random EX makes Ryu and Lemon Ryoko shine
⚠️Ratings assume max awakening, as of August 2026. Updated as new cards and balance changes arrive.
